Transit Provider Maintenance
Resolved
Aug 14 at 08:42pm BST
The provider experienced and issue with their MC-LAG configuration when they reloaded their peering switches, which resulted in a loss of connectivity for approximately 5 minutes while their switches booted.
We have identified the root cause of the issue experienced this evening and will be resolving it with offline configuration changes.
We will notify customers of any potentially service impacting events.

One of our transit providers will perform maintenance on our transit uplinks from 18:30 to 20:30 on Wednesday 14th August 2024.
The sequence of events will be as follows:
- 18:30: Traffic routed away from provider POP-1.
- Maintenance performed on provider POP-1.
- Cilix confirm no issues are present when routing traffic through provider POP-1.
- Production traffic routed through provider POP-1.
- Traffic routed away from provider POP-2.
- Maintenance performed on provider POP-2.
- Cilix confirm no issues are present when routing traffic through provider POP-2.
- Provider POP-2 re-introduced to production.
During this time our network will be operating with reduced redundancy.
Traffic will be gracefully routed away from affected uplinks. Uplinks will be re-introduced into service once the provider has confirmed they've completed the works.
We do not expect this maintenance to be disruptive.
