Fibre Provider Maintenance

We have worked with the affected provider to identify a MTU mismatch on their routing equipment.
The mismatch has been corrected, and the affected infrastructure has now been pushed back into production.

Maintenance is now complete.
We have identified an issue affecting a limited portion of our infrastructure caused by a provider gateway intermittently dropping traffic, in a way that was not immediately visible with our monitoring systems.
We have routed affected traffic through alternative L3 gateways, and have seen full-service restoration.
We will schedule offline maintenance to resolve the issues with the affected provider gateway.

One of our fibre providers will be performing maintenance on one of our fibre optic uplinks from 11 AM to 12 PM BST on Thursday 8th August 2024.
During this time our network will be operating with reduced redundancy.
Traffic will be gracefully routed away from the affected uplink at 10:30 BST. The uplink will be re-introduced into service once the provider has confirmed they've completed the works.
We do not expect this maintenance to be disruptive.
